how much should a pet fancy rat be fed?
i don't know if i am feeding them too much or too little...
Keep dry food in their cage all the time so they can nibble @ will. You'll get an idea of how much they're eating by how frequently you need to refill the food dish.
We give our rats a bit of veggies or fruit about every other day, and often a bit of whatever we're eating unless it's bad for them. Any uneaten fresh food should be removed within a couple hours so it won't go bad & upset their little tummies.
